Back end developer

The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing the back end of our web-based software. This includes writing code that interacts with the client’s back end, writing code that integrates with other systems, and writing code that interacts with the client’s front end. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, and web development.

Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining the front end of the software. This includes writing code that interacts with the client’s front end, writing code that integrates with other systems, and writing code that interacts with the client’s back end.
Writing SQL queries and executing them against a database.
Writing JavaScript to interact with our client’s front end.
Writing JavaScript to display reports or other custom visualizations on the client’s screen.
Writing JavaScript to display reports or visualizations on the client’s screen.
Designing, developing, and testing new features for our clients.
Working closely with other developers to work on projects as needed.
Communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and problems.
Working effectively in a team environment while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
Communicating effectively with customers via phone or email.

Expertise in Javascript / Typescript, NodeJS, Celery, Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB, Docker, and AW
Additional expertise in: Python-Django, Django REST framework
2+ years of API design, development, and testing experience leveraging industry standards
2+ years with Postgres or a similar RDBMS
2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment (preferred)
Experience with large-scale distributed systems or cloud platforms.
Knowledge of container technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
Demonstrated skill in software architecture in multi-tenant, heterogenous service ecosystems
